Supportive Steps
How therapy works
For Individuals
Step 1: Book a free consultation
Get in touch to schedule a brief free consultation. This is an opportunity to talk about your needs, ask questions, and see whether we are a good fit to work together.
Step 2 – Initial intake
In our first sessions, we explore what brings you to therapy, your goals, and your personal history. This helps us create a collaborative direction for our work.
Step 3 – Ongoing sessions
Therapy typically takes place in weekly sessions, offering consistency and a supportive space for reflection, emotional processing, and change.
Step 4 – Ongoing reviews of your goals
At different points in the process, we pause to reflect on your progress and adjust the focus of therapy according to your evolving needs.

For Couples
Step 1: Book a free consultation
You can reach out together or as one partner to schedule a brief consultation and learn more about the process.
Step 2 – Initial joint session
We begin with a session as a couple to understand your relationship, your current challenges, and the goals you would like to work toward together.
Step 3 – Individual sessions
Each partner attends an individual session to explore personal history, relationship experiences, and individual perspectives.
Step 4 – Ongoing couples sessions
Most couples attend weekly sessions focused on improving communication, navigating conflict, rebuilding trust, and strengthening emotional connection.
My work is informed by the Gottman Method, bringing structured and practical tools into the process.
Step 5 – Ongoing reviews of your goals
Throughout therapy, we reflect on progress and adjust the focus according to your evolving needs as a couple.
